As the season is again shifting and an end to the year approaching, I am filled with gratitude for what I have, amidst such loss and challenges in the last year.
In the aftermath of a tragic ending, I am filled with a deep knowing that I am meant to share my personal healing story and the larger wisdom gained through it all. Thank you so much to all who continue to read what I write and are interested in where I am going and what I am sharing.
Substack is a disruptive and emerging platform for content creators to be valued for their content by their supporters directly rather than be supported financially by the reach of data mining and advertising and all manner of the stuff we are all weary of. It also allows amazing flexibility to grow a community of authentic supporters and have more direct engagement.
I want my passion and expertise at what I create and share personally and professionally to be how I make a living.
If you want to continue to support my deep desire to give greater insight into healing as well as dynamic and delicious recipes please upgrade to a PAID SUBSCRIBER. This small token from you ends up being a lot for me, especially if you also SHARE this Substack site with anyone you know who is healing, anyone with Multiple Sclerosis, or anyone who loves healthy food and wisdom. Thank you in advance.

Ikarian Longevity and Lifestyle Day Retreat: October 27, 28, 29
When I stepped out of my rental car once I arrived at George and Eleni’s home, the sun was setting over the vineyard, garden, restaurant and lodging, where I would begin a sabbatical and learn to rest.
It became abundantly clear, the magic here was much more than the food. Of course, the food was epic, but it was the sum of all the intangibles. The connection and togetherness with others of shared interests, the energy and laughter and sharing space and food. Immersing yourself in different relationship with time, and stress and rest.
This is what George and Eleni and I will be sharing in Denver. These day long retreats begins at 10:30 am with the option of staying overnight. The days will be filled with education and conversation around the importance of community, lifestyle and movement techniques. We’ll have lunch and cooking workshops, culminating in a shared dinner and more conversation. Health is so much more than food and more fun in community.
Please JOIN US for this delicious and restful experience.
Our long time customers always knew when our fall menu would launch at Fresh Thymes. When you arrived one Monday in early October, the restaurant would be adorned with loads of pumpkins and winter squash all awaiting their fate in the kitchen.
Additionally, our Thanksgiving program was rockin!! We literally fed thousands of people damn tasty, high quality, Thanksgiving dinner that was gluten free, mostly vegan (ahem, the turkey and gravy and oh yeah pork belly) and became a Fresh Thymes community tradition.
Fresh Thymes Thanksgiving Recipe E-book will be for sale beginning November 4! Become a PAID SUBSCRIBER for special features.
SUCH AS: Cooking with you this fall! a Zoom class together breaking down a turkey? Making gravy? An in-person class series making holiday goodies?
