As the season is again shifting and an end to the year approaching, I am filled with gratitude for what I have, amidst such loss and challenges in the last year.
Good morning! I hope you saw that I took your request to heart and the Flatbread was my first official FTE recipe posted!
Thanks Delin for sharing your desire for the particular recipes. I will have the magic bars I think in a holiday baking cookbook I'll create after I am finished with Thanksgiving recipe scaling!
Hi Tahnee!! Yes yes! I was considering doing a series for the recipes and a sauce series I think is the first one! Both those will be high on the list! Thanks for sharing :D
OMGosh! Those cranberries! I forgot all about those! You can make them NOW! If you can find fresh organic cranberries. Once you do, give them a good rinse and dry and add them to a clean glass jar. Top with organic honey and add the lid. The microbial activity in the honey and the cranberries allow the berries to ferment in the honey! It takes a few weeks, so as soon as you begin spotting cranberries, run home to make. Then, to anyone else who wasn't able to grab jars of these at Fresh Thymes, you simply spoon the cranberries from the honey when you want to eat them. Drape them across pumpkin pie, or a grilled pork chop, really options are endless! xoxox
And - I'll be adding our recipe for the cauliflower and parsnip puree to the Thanksgiving recipe book!
Thanks for sharing your favorites! I was actually going to include the chickpea flatbread recipe in the last newsletter but fell down a rabbit hole looking for great pics of our flatbread and ran out of time. I will be posting that recipe in the next day or so.
The magic bar recipes will be a collection of our baked goods that I will create a recipe book for by the holidays!
I would love to learn how to make your fermented cranberries! Also a good alternative to potatoes that would also pair well with gravy - if that is even possible!

The two things I consistently ordered in the fall (and every other season)...chickpea flat bread and magic bars!
